|Sep 12, 2017||Cancervive Cycling Tour||Ride begins in Banff National Park||If you love cycling out in the country and enjoying Alberta’s beautiful landscape, your passion can help people impacted by cancer. Over a 11-year period, the Cancervive Cycle Tour has raised over $100,000 for both Wellspring facilities in Edmonton and Calgary. Last year, our Edmonton Cancervive Cycle Tour group raised over $8,000 that went directly to Wellspring Edmonton. This year, in time for Canada’s 150th Birthday, The Cancervive Cycle Tour is doing a six-day tour through gorgeous Banff National Park and the foothills of Southern Alberta. The cycling tour is scheduled for September 12 to 17, 2017 with the route starting from Calgary into the Rockies and back to Calgary via Rocky Mountain House and Cochrane. Sign up for the the full tour or for the last leg from Cochrane to Calgary. Your donations raised will go directly to supporting the over 40 programs and services Wellspring Edmonton is providing for people in Edmonton and northern Alberta whose lives are affected by a canc|
We are a group of St. Albert based cycling enthusiasts. Some of our member’s race but our main focus is riding and having fun. We have a number of rides that range from our beginner focused Monday night rides to our fast paced Wednesday night training rides. New for 2017, we are offering a women's beginner mountain bike ride with our Tuesday night mountain bike rides as well as a womens road ride on Thursday evenings. We will also have a "Beer Ride" on the last Friday of the month (April-August). Watch for monthly club newsletters starting in early April.
As of May 1st, ride leaders will be using Team App to send out ride updates. When you join the club you'll be e-mailed an invitation to join Team App. Until then, we will continue to use e-mails just like last year.
